Many patients choose to combine a more complex dental treatment with a vacation and do so coming from countries where dentistry is practiced at much higher prices than in Romania. We have patients from Italy, England, Germany, France, the USA, but also from the Nordic countries. Dental Tourism Oradea:
Not inferior to many other European cities, "Little Paris", as Oradea was called at the beginning of the last century, still awaits you today to relive its "belle epoque" charm given by architecture in secession, eclectic, neo-Romanesque, neo-classical, and baroque styles.
The historic center. A tour of the city offers the chance to admire special buildings with specific architecture: the Baroque complex formed by the Episcopal Palace, the Roman Catholic Basilica – with numerous frescoes by J.N. Schöph and Francesco Storno – the Canons' Row, an ensemble built in the second half of the 18th century, the former Finance Palace (1890, eclectic style, currently houses the Polyclinic), the Capuchin Monastery (1837, built in neoclassical style), the Regina Maria Theater (1899-1900).
It is worth admiring the stained glass windows in the "Black Eagle" passage, a symbol of the city made in the Neuman glass workshops in 1909, as well as the mechanism indicating the phases of the Moon, made in 1793 by Georg Rueppe, still functional today, as well as listening to the Christmas concerts, held on the organ donated by Maria Theresa in 1780, at the Roman Catholic Basilica.
The fortified fortress, located in the central area of the city, is an important attraction, being the largest and best-preserved pentagonal fortress in Central Europe, rebuilt in the Italian style in the 16th century.
Felix Baths and 1st May Baths:
Known since ancient times, the thermal springs near Oradea are still appreciated by a wide range of tourists today. Located 8 km from Oradea, the spa resorts of Băile 1 Mai and Băile Felix benefit from the presence of sapropelic mud and oligometallic, bicarbonate, calcium, sodium thermal waters, with temperatures of 43-49°C.
The temperate continental climate, with mild winters and moderate summers, is influenced by the existence of extensive deciduous forests, which give the two resorts an ideal atmosphere, in any season, for relaxation and treatment. Here, rain or winter cold are no obstacle to an outdoor thermal bath.
Apuseni Natural Park:
The Apuseni Natural Park is a region of concentrated natural beauty, characterized by the presence, more than anywhere else in Romania, of the karst relief: caves, gorges, gorges (and) karst plateaus. A special charm is given by the accentuated humanization of these mountains, the authentic way of life of the people who live here being closely linked to nature. Easily accessible, excellent in winter for downhill skiing, ski touring and even dog sledding, and in the rest of the seasons for hiking, cycling, climbing or speleology, the Apuseni Natural Park is the ideal space to spend a holiday with friends or family.
Bear Cave:
The Bears' Cave was discovered in 1975, during a dynamiting operation at a marble quarry in the area. The interior is distinguished by the diversity of existing stalactite and stalagmite formations, as well as by the impressive amount of traces and fossils of the cave bear – Ursus spelaeus – which disappeared 666666.0000 years ago. In addition to this, fossils of the ibex, ibex, lion and cave hyena have also been discovered. At the entrance to the cave there is a pavilion, consisting of a waiting room, a ticket office, a bar, a small speleological museum and a stand with souvenirs and handicrafts specific to the area.
